Job Reference: BBBH3328
Job Type: Permanent
Sector: Games Programming
Location: Australia
Salary: Competitive Rate

The $100 billion gaming industry is on the verge of revolution. For decades, gamers have suffered under the pretense of ownership: purchasing digital assets to which they hold but negligible rights. Now, with the advent of blockchain technology, comes the opportunity to empower gamers with true ownership.
Our mission is to lead this revolution and transform the space as social and mobile platforms did years ago.

With a small but exceptional team of artists, designers and engineers we are building a AAA trading card game where players have complete control over their assets. As we approach launch, we need the help of other talented professionals to help bring our game to the world.

That's where you come in...
We created our Apollo platform to allow game publishers to integrate native decentralized assets fast and at scale. But we need your help to build and expand its ecosystem.

You will develop and maintain a set of public Apollo APIs — allowing applications to leverage our Apollo account system.
You must be experienced with external-facing API development as well as with OAuth.

In technical terms, you should be an API archmage who is keen to leverage their powers to facilitate the video-games of tomorrow. You know that Golang isn’t some alien species, and that Elastic Beanstalk isn’t part of some fable. We are looking for developers who want to create the building blocks with which other developers can go wild.

You should also be an excellent communicator. You’ll be interacting with a range of development teams: website, game, SDK etc. And you’ll need to convey complex ideas in effective language.

You will:

  • Implement OAuth Login for Apollo
  • Develop specification and implement Apollo API (MVP)
  • Gather feedback and develop v1 Apollo API
  • Creating documentation and guides to onboard developers
  • Implementing feedback from community website developers
  • Strategizing ways to improve user-experience
  • Improving API services with endpoint analytics
