With a small but exceptional team of artists, designers and engineers we are building a AAA trading card game where players have complete control over their assets. As we approach launch, we need the help of other talented professionals to help bring our game to the world.
That's where you come in...
We are looking for a talented Artist who wants to create the next generation of games. You have experience working on AAA titles and proven time and again that you produce game experiences that players love.

You will lead the Game Art team in their creation and implementation of great looking and highly performant environment and game art.
You will be developing and adjusting art pipelines, collaborating with team members, creating great art and implementing and enhancing the works of other artists.
You must be able to create great looking and performant 3D art in a variety of styles. They need to be able to create models, textures, hipoly sculpts, materials and particles all for deployment into a game engine. They need to be able to light and set-dress effectively.
A particular duty of this role is the effective leadership and management of the Game Art team. Whist this role will take on the most challenging artistic production tasks the day to day part of this role is the amplification, enhancement and management of the Game Art team to help them create the most amazing artwork possible.


You Will:

  • Report to Art Director
  • Manage 3D Team
  • Integrate assets into tech systems
  • Collaborate with Engineering and UI/UX departments
  • Spin up and manage external 3D contractors
  • Find clever solutions for performance concerns related to variations of meshes, textures and art assets.
  • Own and iterate the process of environment and asset development
  • Iterate 3d art direction.
  • Create complex or difficult artistic assets.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of Zbrush, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and a modelling package (Max, Maya, Blender or Modo) - Knowledge of 2 Packages Preferred.
  • Knowledge of material graphs and particle systems
  • Knowledge of real-time lighting
  • Unity experience, Unreal Experience accepted. Both preferred.
