Women in Games is looking for a part time, professional Marketing Director to add to its newly formed Executive Board that meets monthly to direct this not for profit organisation seeking to double the number of women working in the games industry over 10 years. This is an opportunity to work for the leading games diversity brand across Europe, for an organisation recognised by the UK government as a "programme seeking to provide a step change in the diversity of its workforce" in its Sector Deal for the Creative Industries.

• Set and implement the Marketing and PR strategy and framework for the organisation.
• Set the marketing plan for the European Women in Games Conference and other programme and events
• Coordinate with the Events Manager a programme of events for members of the Women in Games network.
• Manage a Marketing database like Mailchimp and develop a branded monthly newsletter
• Manage the relationship with its external PR Agency.
• Coordinate the outreach of Women in Games across social media including Instagram.
• Manage the relationship with Patreon members including organising regular exclusives.
• Manage market research projects.

• Experience in working in marketing in the games industry or the not for profit sector.
• Excellent knowledge of marketing communications including hands-on expertise in marketing tools Wordpress, MailChimp, Eventbrite and Meetup.
• Experience in building successful marketing strategies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• An understanding of the challenges faced by women in many roles within games.

This role would suit a freelance Games Marketing professional with a portfolio of games industry clients or a full time Marketing Director or Manager with permission to work for a day a week for an industry leading not for profit organisation.
